Exciting things happening on the work front, and several deadlines have meant no time to blog in the last month... No excuses, and now it's Mini Racer time again.
Later this week I drive from London to Paris via my old Senlis home. I'll be running some story and book making workshops for 4-8 year olds in the Victor Hugo Bilingual school.
Only a short pit stop in France, as I'm due back in London next week, to give another workshop for children on World Book Day at Dulwich Books, on Thursday March 7th at 11am. Award-winning Dulwich Books is celebrating 30 years of business. Read all about it here! on pages 16-18 in the glossy magazine, Living South including this interview with me.
In short, I'm making tracks all over shop - brooom brooom!

Hi Bridgit. Thanks for the comment on my blog about putting illustrations up on a wooden frame. I can see some clips in the picture of you. So you are using a string or something as well.... I wouldn't normally put them up like that exactly, but the space and job required an innovative solution. Loved seeing your work BTW. I'd be interested in hearing what your French connection is. And Michael - I'll post another wall up which I just put on FB. I use white tack and a chain with hangers I bought at a shop suppliers near me in Whitechapel London. Just finished a deadline for Bayard - my main French connection. I and other UK illustrators sometimes work for their magazines like Tralalire and Belles Histoires - highly recommended for quick turnover and it's not work for hire - let me know if you are interested. I also do the odd book for them - they are better selling abroad than most and sold two of my doodle books to the Tate UK in 2006 before doodle books were everywhere...
